2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

Account: email address; Google account identifier and basic profile if you sign in with Google
Session: a sign-in cookie (token) after you agree and complete sign-in
Usage content: questions, card draws, chat messages, and related session data needed to run a session
Purchases: order amount, package, locale, and payment status (card details are handled by the payment provider)
Technical data: language preference, device/browser information, and basic analytics (for example Google Analytics / Ads identifiers if enabled)

We do not ask for payment-card PAN/CVV. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Why we use it

create and secure your account (PING code or Google sign-in)
provide the interactive card-drawing studio, decision-exploration tool, and optional AI-assisted interpretation of card meanings
apply free quota, consume Pentacles, and remove ads after purchase
process payments, send receipts, and handle order support
improve reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations

Legal bases (where GDPR or similar laws apply) include performing the contract, legitimate interests in running a safe service, consent where required (for example certain cookies or marketing), and legal compliance.

4. Cookies and sign-in

We write a token cookie only after you agree to the house rules, Terms of Service, and this Privacy Policy and complete sign-in. The cookie keeps you signed in. You can sign out to clear it. Analytics or advertising cookies, if used, are for measuring product use and campaign performance.

5. AI processing

To generate an interpretation, your question and draw context are sent to AI model providers acting as processors. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing with those systems.

6. Who we share with

We share data only as needed with:

hosting and infrastructure providers
AI model / API providers that generate interpretations
payment providers (for example the checkout you are directed to)
email delivery for PING codes and purchase notices
analytics or advertising tools we configure

We do not sell membership lists. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the service and users.

7. Retention

We keep account and order records for as long as the account is active and as needed for accounting, dispute handling, and legal requirements. You may ask us to delete or export your account data; we may retain limited records where the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you may object to certain processing. Contact service@taroscope.ai. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Children

taroscope is not directed at children under 16 (or the higher age required in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
